Metpro Resources offers the recycling, smelting and scrap industries modern machinery for metal processing, metal smelting and scrap recycling, and materials recycling facilities, using state of the art technology with modem hydraulic, PLC and electronic controls.

Metpro designed recycling and metals processing machinery has been manufactured for over 25 years and has been sold all over the world.  The machinery is robust and reliable and has an established reputation for its low maintenance costs, high quality and competitive pricing.  The machinery is continuously being improved and up-dated.  Our range includes:

Shredders/ Fragmentisers: a range of heavy-duty hammerrnill shredders, including those for shredding heavy no. 1 and no.2 scrap, automobiles, white goods and general light scrap.  The Metpro shredder offers many advantages for scrap processors, including low maintenance costs, reduced energy consumption and high levels of non-ferrous recovery.  Metpro also manufactures all the downstream equipment for the separation of the metals for recycling, including a metals cleaning system, dust extraction and eddy current separators to separate the non-ferrous metals.
Rotary Shears: Metpro's largest heavy-duty mono-shear is capable of shredding cable (including heavyduty steel wired armoured) at a rate of 10-12 tonnes per hour and tyres (including heavy-duty super singles) at a rate of 6 tonnes per hour.  This machine will also shred aluminium and other light scrap and works with knives rather than hammers.  Metpro also manufactures smaller shredders, heavy-duty granulators, and separation systems which will further process and separate the metals in cable and telecommunications scrap and will reduce the rubber in tyres to crumb.
Ingot Casting Machines: Metpro is now one of the major manufacturers of machines to cast zinc, lead, aluminium, copper and other metals, as well as the associated machinery for skimming, stamping, weighing, strapping and stacking the ingots.  These machines are built to the customer's requirements in terms of ingot size and shape, stacking sequence, tonnages per hour etc.  Ingot casting machines range from very large automatic carousel systems casting, 1 or 2 tonne blocks to smaller systems producing 5,6 or 8 tonnes per hour of smaller sized ingots and deoxidants.
